our neighbor accross the street chooses to park his car on our side of the side street, in front of our house. it is beyond annoying. anyone else in this situation and if so, doing anything about it? i don't really expect a solution here, but i feel better already just venting about it. :(

There is nothing that says he has to park in front of his house. However, have you tried talking to the neighbor about it ??

OK ... I'm in a mischevious mood ... [:p]

If talking to them fails, go proactive. You could always talk to a bunch of other friends, and one day, get them to pile stuff for the trash truck all around that care so they can't get in. Maybe they'll get the hint.

Or here's another idea each time they parked there, I'd run the lawn mower and make sure I'd kick up rocks. I suspect it won't stay there long !

It's not the right time of year yet, but I like to water the lawn when cars are parked in front of our house. I just place the sprinkler a little closer to the street. ;)

Better yet, water your lawn then mow it...that way they get grass stuck to their car along with the rocks. The only downside is your mower will get all nasty too, but that's a small price to pay.

You could gather up all of the dog poo that has been stockpiling in the common areas, and gently place a steaming heap on their hood or windshield. :D

My #1 complaint in my section of broadlands.. ppl parking along the throughstreets! Just so they don't have to walk as far to their townhome!

Driving down demott feels like slalom course at times!

Especially in the summer when the pool is open...it's like a slalom course with kids and strollers shooting out in front of you.
