DSH male black cat w/green eyes. 8 years old. Midnight is a wonderful cat & very loving. He has been fixed and his front paws (not rear) were declawed previously. He is an inside cat only. He does require low allergen food due to food allergies. This food can be found at any vet and we would provide the information and a small bag w/him (we get the food from Stream Valley). He is up to date on all his shots.

Family circumstances have changed so we need to find him a GOOD home. He would excel if he were the only cat so he can glean all the attention he loves; however, he comes from a multi-cat home. Slightly skittish with newcombers & dogs but warms up fast w/people (not sure about dogs). Tolerates our 2 1/2 year old but usually runs away when she gets to rough (I see him as a wonderful companion for retirees or anyone who needs to give love & be loved).

Adoption fee for his protection.

Email jcobean@yahoo.com (not through the HOA form please as it will go into my junk mail folder & be deleted) for pictures or for more information.

Aw, he sounds like a sweetie!

I wish I could take him, but I have one DSH jet black female who's about 15 years old. I tried introducing another kitty into the household a while back, but it didn't go well at all.

I do hope you find a good home for him!

Sending kitty purrs to Midnight.

I sure wish I -could- take him...I think everyone knows I adore my cats and they own me...but with the big overseas move coming up too fast, I don't think it would be fair to even consider putting a sweetie like Midnight into the equation.

If you have not done so already, try contacting Fancy Cats of Herndon. They've been known to help try and place cats. Maybe they'd put Midnight up on their web site as available for adoption.

Thanks for the responses. I have looked into other options but I like the fact that this way I can kind of screen who's interested. Spread the word if you know people that are lonely:)
