A a small white/brown and black dog (perhaps King Charles spaniel mix) was found at approximately 2 pm today on Ridgeway...s/he was taken home by a kind gentleman who didn't want to have her/him sent to the pound. The was no collar or tags. You can call Mr. Simmons at home 540-723-6733 or on his cell 703-932-6141 for more information. There is a photo of the animal available at the Nature Center.

If he takes the dog to Dr Corey at StreamValley vets by eagle ridge she can scan for microchip.
I do not have tags/names on my dogs for theft reasons.

The dog looks a lot like my neighbors. I will check to see if their dog is home when I get home from work tonight.

I checked with my neighbors and their pooch is home safe so it's not theirs. Good luck finding the dogs owners!
