My sister lives in Lansdowne and just called me about this. I hadn't heard anything on the news yesterday but apparantly a Lansdowne woman attempted to drown her 2 children and then she jumped out of her 2-story house. How scary!

I found a little piece of it on the internet:

"Police said the woman and her two children are listed in stable condition."

Isn't much about this woman that's stable.

What makes people do these kinds of things??? I wonder how long it will be before there are more details. I hope they have a stable Dad. How sad!!!

Heard on the news that the father was out of the country on business and was on his way back yesterday.

I didn't know Andrea Yates moved into the area. :)

According to the newspapers, there was a nanny living in the basement and was home at the time of the incident. This is pretty bizarre!!!
