Child eye doctor

Question:

I have a child just ready to turn three. When is the right age to bring your child to an eye doctor? I have never noticed anything wrong with her sight except it seems pretty good - better than mine for sure! Any good eye doctors in the area?

When your child goes into kindergarden and has her physical, she will have an eye check where they just have her read an eye chart. We took our daughter when she was either 4 or 5 to Eye Center of Ashburn located in the village. They did a full exam, dilated and everything. So we know she has really good eyesight with a slight stygmitism.
