Loudoun County, VA: The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two residential burglaries that occurred overnight in Sterling and Leesburg. Around 1:15 a.m. April 5, 2010 an unknown subject entered a residence located in the 100 block of Farmington Court in Sterling. The suspect entered the residence through an unlocked door and reportedly got into bed with a 60-year-old woman. The suspect fled after the woman screamed. The suspect was only described as having short dark hair and was wearing all dark clothing. A red car was seen in the area around the time of the incident. If you have any information on this case you are asked to contact Investigator W. Promisel of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. Around 2:46 a.m. the Loudoun Sheriff’s Office responded to another residential burglary in the 18530 block of Sierra Springs Square in Leesburg. The suspect apparently entered the home through the garage and removed a purse from a vehicle. The suspect was chased from the home by an occupant of the home. If you have any information on this case you are asked to contact Investigator S. Dikeman of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous they are asked to contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
