I have a 19" monitor (not flat screen) that is free. I just would hate to add it to the land fill. PM me if you want it.

Please do not trash it...instead, wait for the next electronics collection and dispose of it that way, that is, if no one wants it.

What is an electronics collection? I know most of the charities that come around won't take it and it is taking up space.

Those monitors have bad pollutants and contaminants in them...don't put it in the dump. Occasionally Loudoun County has a collection during the year where you can bring all your old electronics so they can dispose of them properly...

Or you could try the Cristina Foundation (www.cristina.org). The website says that "donation placements take approximately two weeks", so if time is an issue for you... I have donated to them before, and I'd do so again.

Taken by someone on freecycle, so it has been saved from the landfill!
