Events for under 3

Would love to see any events for the under 3 crowd!

I have really been looking for things for my guys as well but haven't found much in the community. Have you checked out the library? They have a Tuesday/Thursday program for Toddlers and Two's. They do a nice job keeping the program age appropriate. Additionally I found MOMSCLUB.org, but haven't hooked up with them yet.

That all said it would be nice to have something in our own community. I had considered putting together something myself (I am a teacher by trade) but can't imagine how I would manage it with two little ones myself. I certainly would be willing to help however I can.:)

Have you heard about the MOMS Club of Ashburn? I've been a member since I moved here 1 1/2 years ago. We do all sorts of great things, such as game days for the kids, Mom's Night Out, playgroups, storytime at the mall or a bookstore, etc. We usually have 2-3 activities going on every week. If you'd like more info let me know, I'm the membership coordinator.

The issue is that I am a working mom so mostly I would want something in early evenings or weekends.

I have seen a lot of Mom's looking for activiites for the 3 and 4 year olds here in the community. I have also talked with many people looking for activities for the tweenies and their early teens. I am one of the members of the rec committee and we have been trying to plan some events for these different age groups, but are not sure what people are looking for. Anybody who has any ideas should email me at ssdkapinos@yahoo.com and I can make sure we discuss them at the next meeting. We are always looking for suggestions or if you have an idea you want help organizing be sure to stop by our meetings they are the 2nd Monday of each month ( not in Feb though it will be the Feb 23 instead).
