Hi,
I use the Loudoun County bus from the North Dulles parking lot. Today I discovered that the exit that doesn't line up with Moran Rd has been blocked. This forces all traffic to leave at the Moran Rd intersection which makes a bad intersection worse and much more dangerous than it used to be. (It has never been good.)
Does anyone have any idea who would have done this and who to contact to try and get the intersection improved?
Thanks,
Richard
Which intersection is it exactly? I get there from Broderick and haven't noticed anything blocked off.

Hi,
It's the entrance to the lot that doesn't line up with Moran. Some people call it the back or lower entrance. The change made it enter only and blocked the ability to exit from the lot there.
Yesterday, Loudoun County sent out an email on this. They said that VDOT did it without any input from the county and they (the county) are trying to get it changed back. They also recommend that individuals contact VDOT about this (if they care).
The VDOT contact is Jerry Pauley, jerry.pauley@vdot.virginia.gov.
Best regards,
Richard
Don't count on Mr. Jerry Pauley do really do anything residents want/need. He's NOT a people person, he'll belittle you and talk to you like your a child. Good 'ol engineer people skills is what he has. Don't know why he's in the position he's in, I met with him and I held back punching him in the face he was so demeaning to the few of us that met with him with a concern. He acted like we were a waste of our time. Go above his position if you want anything done. He's worthless talking to residents.

I've had two meetings with Mr. Pauley and he was cordial, helpful, and professional.

Yea, could the fact that you're on the Loudoun County Planning Commission have anything to do with that?

No, because these two meetings were years ago......back when we were trying to get something done about Ridgeway.

What was the problem with Ridgeway back then?
