So, I was thinking (happens from time to time) that there have been enough threads lately where us Broadlanderians or whatever the He*& (HECK, truly, I mean HECK!) we are called have been at each others throats. So this led me to think "happy thoughts", with beer in hand, and I was thinking of a possible Broadlands golf outing at a nearby course.
No politics, no neighbor bashing, no religion other than "comments" regarding your shots... just some golf and some alcohol!
Or soda
If there is enough interest, we can choose a weekend day and try to block some tee times.
Golf anyone???

Absolutely! Great idea!
I don't golf but with the clubs, it could become a contact sport...:D

I'm all for giving the lot of us clubs and letting us swing at things. Honestly, though, a great idea!

GREAT, looks like we have at least 1 foursome. I will try to set something up and get back to everyone through this Topic. May not be for a few weeks though as I have some prior commitments.
Sounds good to me! I just got back from Myrtle Beach. 8 Rounds of golf in 5 days! We had a group of 20 go down this year.

Hi!
I'm quite interested in getting together to play golf on a regular basis on weekends - I've been playing golf for about a couple of years and generally hit about 100 - 110
Pls send an email if you're interested
Thanks
Sanjeev

While we are on the subject, for those of us newer to the area, can anyone provide a rundown on the various local public courses and what they are like? Which ones are the best? When are the best time (non peak) to go to the various courses? What are the rates? Which one is closest to Broadlands?
Thanks!
