I have some handmade oversized floor cushions. While I was in Iraq one of my cats was upset by my absence and illustrated his displeasure on these cushions. I've removed (and tossed) the pillows from these cushions and took the cushions to the dry cleaner with the intent of replacing the pillows once I got the cushions back from the cleaner. Unfortunately even after getting the cushions cleaned, there is still a cat odor. Does anyone have any recommendation on how to get the smell out of the cushions?

PetSmart sells it. You could also try PowerDry at www.mypowerdry.com We are currently working with them to eliminate a "problem" we are having with a diabetic cat who likes to use our basement carpet as a litter box. They will give a full (and free) assessment/estimate of what it will take to eliminate your odors and/or stains.

Good luck!

Pats Fan; Sunnydog,

Thanks so much to both of you. My floor cushions are a mix from Pakistan and Afghanistan and I'd hate to have to give them up.

Noone can say pets do not have personalities and they certainly make their viewpoint known!
