So, looking for recommendations on take-out chicken wings for this weekend. Based on a quick search, it seems there is BWW, Buffalo Wing Factory, and Main St. Wings. Anyone know if there are others close by they would recommend? Do you know if they bread the wings or not (I prefer unbreaded)? What would you recommend?

For something a little different there is Famous Dave's. A little further away but a good deal if you order the tray of 60 wings. There are BBQ (smoked) and very good large wings. They come with Ranch or Blue Cheese, carrots and celery. To get them spicy, they have a spicy BBQ that is good.

For what you are looking for, I think BWF is a good choice for the money. Their wings are consistently good and have lots of flavor choices. I would not go as far as saying they are the best ever but not bad.

I have tried a few times to do them myself with great results but it takes time and effort. Good Luck, I am making chili this year...

BW Factory gets slammed with orders so place your order early (they are used to this and have a great setup to handle the surge). Its our go-to place but I echo Zeratul's comments (not the best ever but pretty good, not breaded, we order them extra crispy).

Thanks for the recommendations so far - Glory Days and Famous Daves were definitely not on my radar.

I tried the Buffalo Wing Factory last night - good flavor, but the wings were very, very small.

    May try Glory Days tonight.

Hooters in Chantilly. Daytona grilled wings, yum! OK, not super close, but its only about 15 miles.

We have had Ledo's wings a few times and I think they are way more meatier than BWF.

You can't put HOOTERS with these other wanna be wing places. HOOTERS stands alone...If there was a hooters in Ashburn/Broadlands it would be slammed all the time!!

Sorry all, but buffalo wild wings beats all. We had Manhattan for Super Bowl for the first time and they were only Ok. Hooters are too small and too soggy. Buffalo Wing Factory is too salty. Last year Buffalo Wild Wings wait was too long for SB wings so we thought we were smart to try another recommended place. We were wrong! Back to the best: Caribbean jerk! Parm Garlic!

I love how polarizing "wings" can be.

One comment on Hooters. While I do not personally care for them they certainly aren't bad. I understand why many people do like them.
However, they are not authentic BUFFALO wings. They are hot wings.
Buffalo Wild Wings is my personal favorite, however, they are also unbelievably expensive which really bothers me... for 3adults, 1 child with no alcohol one day we managed to spend $65. I'm sorry but that is not food worth spending $65 on.

Buffalo wing factory has good wings and their medium and hot sauces I find good. For your basic standard wing, I actually really enjoy Clydes wings (For $9 bucks you get wings, celery, all the blue cheese you want... and THEY ARE SERVED ON A PLATE!) I however, am addicted to Asian Zing at BWW so I will still have to pay their prices occasionally! But really why do they have to charge that much and they can't even use plates!

BWF is good to go. I like the old (original?) one behind Sterling Annex. Buffalo Wild Wings is pretty bad. Poor food, overpriced and poor service. Wouldn't go back.
