Our family usually uses Dr. Lower at Countryside Ortho. He unfortunately does not take our insurance anymore. I need to get my son's knee checked out. Any recommendations?

We love Dr. Lower. He was so very gentle with my daughter, who suffered a bad sprain to her ankle when she was four. Not sure about insurance, but it's worth a phone call to check.

I second Dr. Cook. All of the doctors and staff in that office are really good.

I recommend Dr. Peyton http://www.arthritisandsports.com/ in Sterling.

I saw Dr. Madden at Reston Hospital after injuring my knee - this is the same practice as Dr. Klein mentioned above. I don't recommend Dr. Madden. They seem to overbook appointments to a ridiculous extent. The appointments at that practice regularly run very late.

I went to Dr. Klein and didn't like him. But that's my opinion.

Misdiagnosed by Cook's office - when Moshifar was still there - which caused lots more damage to my back. Regardless of who you see, I would get a second or third opinion. Just my two cents, after wasting lots of time and money. Good luck!
