Rubino's raising funds for breast cancer this evening!

Hi there,

If you are wondering what you are going to do for dinner this evening, please consider stopping by Rubino's in the Southern Walk Plaza. This evening, August 7th from 5-9pm, Rubino's is going to donate 15% of it's sales to our Susan G. Komen 3-day team, Broadlands Bosom Buddies. All money raised goes directly to breast cancer research.

Sorry, Unfortunately you are mis-informed. You say all money raised goes to finding a cure fro breast cancer, but in reality, Koman sends a huge percentage of the money to abortion clinics and Planned parenthood, which in itself is a slaughterhouse. Shame

the money is used for breast health and breast cancer screening. whatever your belief, i am sure you support the health of all women, regardless of where they are able to seek it? i think you are the uninformed one. this money goes to the boobs. all of them.

 

perhaps you should do your homework. it's something i actually took the time to look into before signing up to walk 60 miles.

Wow! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but WOW! I would certainly be sure of my facts before I got on here to try and destroy someone's hard work towards their fundraising goals and compassionate heart. You come on to solicit people to purchase coache's gifts through you and then your next two posts are nasty outbursts? I can assure you, that as a team mom for three very active boys and their multiple teams....I'd give those coaches a pet betta fish before I used your services. Might want to consider how you represent your company....Not a sermon, just a thought.

 

Your all so naive. You absolutely and obviously DID NOT do any research of significance on Koman. They have you hoodwinked. Fact...they give to Planned parenthood, which in FACT, is the largest Abortion mill in the country...period!

You go right on believing they are legit with the funds you raise.

The North Jersey affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure announced Friday that Planned Parenthood is among the recipients of more than $1.2 million in total grants to 18 local organizations. A news report reveals the Komen chapter had given a $20,000 grant to the local Planned Parenthood abortion business last year and chose to renew the grant this year

 

Grants are very specific. When komen decided to end the funding for planned parenthood, planned parenthood received over 400000 in independent donations in one day. If u want to defend life, lawmakers and changing people's hearts are a better channel than name calling and fund blocking for womens breast health. Since u r fundamentally opposed to the Susan g komen org, how do YOU support breast cancer research, education, and women's health? And maybe u have other causes (as many of us do). If u have a solution to tack on to ur grievance, please do. But ur "dig deeper" quote comes from a pro-life website, where any utterance of planned parenthood makes u the devil. Do u falsely assume that everyone around u loves abortions? U must, since you make no attempt to gently inform. If its love you have, spread it- don't smear it!

 

I support the great work Komen has done. I support it without loosing a single wink of sleep at night. I most certainly support a group of local women who want to walk to raise funds for breast cancer research and awareness. Too many great women I know died way before their time. And they did get my support last night. Thank you Rubino's!

 

My mother died last year of said cancer and I still won't support an organization that funds abortion, as does Koman.

It is simply a matter of moral principles, fundemental to human value.

sorry about your mom. that sucks. so i still don't see your idea for a better option for all of the people who want to try to beat breast cancer and are doing so in a way they think is the best. do you have a better way (in your opinion)?
also, you must at least be open to the idea that perhaps the small grants that do go to planned parenthood are used strictly for the purpose of breast health? as duped as you believe komen's supporters may be, you do know that NRLC and ALL and all of those orgs have an agenda and manipulate statistics to further their efforts- whether it is wholly accurate or not. one cannot simply get to "the bottom" of something with google. a serious issue- abortion. a serious issue- breast cancer. cutting of a nose to spite one's face comes to mind.
so again, i ask, where might you recommend someone donate money for breast cancer research if not susan g. komen?

 

and by the way i took my daughters to rubino's last night for dessert, and we ended up getting dinner and dessert since i tried to give them cereal for dinner last night and they were still hungry. ha ha. so we ate a really great dinner and had fun and loved seeing how they had adapted the space there. thanks rubino's! it was delicious!!!!! the cakes are AWESOME!!!!!

 

I know it is unfathomable to you, but some of us actually SUPPORT Planned Parenthood and think that it is a positive thing Komen is involved with them...Planned Parenthood supports and helps thousands of women every year.

 

Many organizations are pro life orgs and DO NOT give to planned parenthood or abortion clinics. You want examples..here you are:
So don't give me that crap you can't find an organization that does things right...I just gave you a few of many to choose from. So now I am excited that your concience will take over and you will do the right thing...Now that you have the right place to send donations. Don't be fooled by the hypocracy of Koman!

Wow I was extremely nice to you in all of my posts and you continue to be incredibly rude. I never feigned to not know where to look, I just thought it would be nice if you could give some suggestions since, in my mind, I was trying to salvage the idea that there might be some decency in you since you like fetuses/babies. But I guess not! I guess you don't eat cheerios, or any other product that supports Susan G. Komen.

not to take away from the OP's cause, but this is a local organization that is fantastic for supporting giels as young as 15 stricken with breast cancer- YES it happens to women under 40 SO much more than we think.
