Is there good technology available to have a wireless TV cable signal? I want to add a cable outlet for a TV to an area where hard wire cable cannot be easily run.

While I have nothing to offer in terms of a wireless method, I can offer you a suggestion for a low profile cabling method. There are solutions available that transmits A/V signals using a cat-5 network cable (with pretty decent bandwidth/resolutions). A cat 5 is a bit more flexible, and has a smaller profile than a standard co-axial cable, and I have used such a solution fairly successfully for standards signals (NOT HD), without any signal degradation over long distances over 100 feet. Here is one for a standard Coax to RCA converter: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-...id=1345732987&sr=8-2&keywords=cat+5+converter .

If I am not mistake there are HDMI based solutions as well.

The wireless stuff is shoddy. Run a wire and get creative with wire mould or panduit.

I know I'm replying to an old post, but in case it helps, I bought this and it works great for me:

That would just give you Ethernet - op wanted coax. I would suggest widi or wireless hdmi over short distances but there are no coax over radio offerings.

Technically its hdmi over cat not Ethernet (physical and data link I guess).

To use hdmi with a power line posted above you'd have to convert into ip like 'just add power" but its probably cost prohibitive.
