HOA Question "Nanny" pass for the pool

Am I reading this correctly? Last year I paid $40 for my nanny to get a pool pass for the season so she could take my kids to the pool. This year it's $100? That's quite an increase.

 

Does this mean the pass they got last year isn't valid? Where did you read this information? Confusing, BIG time!

 

By reading it, it seems as if its for "new" nanny passes?? Doesn't say anything in regards to "renewing" though.

 

Unfortunately it's a new nanny so it's not a renewal. The 2014 rules refer to a "resident caregiver" and say it's $100 for the season. Even the non-resident passes are less than $100 when you do the math. It's a little out of whack - I guess I'll have to confrim when I get there.

 

I think the Non Resident passes you are referring too are just additional guess passes. I think a non-resident family pass is $400 for the season.

 

The family non-resident pass is $400 for up to 5 people and then $75 for each additional person = less than $100 per person.

 

Non-resident can purchase a family pass for $400. This includes up to 5 members. Additional member cost $75.

In the mean time, owners have to pay an additional $100 for a yearly pass for a caregiver (nanny, summer overseas student).

So owners have to pay $100 additional, but non-owners have to pay $75. This doesn't seem right to me.

 

Non-resident, for a family size UP TO 5 is $400, any additional family member is $75. Your post even says that.

 

I don't think bike was making a rhetorical statement rather questioning why a HOA member is paying $25 more than a non-resident's add-on.

 

They're not paying for a Broadlands resident. They're paying for someone outside of Broadlands. Is there a difference? Not all non-resident families have 5 members some may have 3. The pass is still $400
