HOA will need to speed up snow removal.

    No fights or court battles needed if the bridge is removed.
    The problem with some of our trails is that they flood over. I know because I walk them regularly. If we are to keep them clear of that, then digging up common areas to provide drainage may be needed.
    There is a legal requirement to have sidewalks cleared. There is no such requirement for private trails.
    Possible end result. The actual walking distance may be greater for kidskin to use sidewalks if paths aren't clear.

    I would be more concerned with my child walking on a wooded trail, which will be in the dark during the winter months. There are parts of that trail that are quite secluded.
