    Hello all,

I am a college student currently in the search for my first car! To be fair, I don't have many expectations for possible options, but I'm open to anything. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hondas and Toyotas have excellent reputations. I still drive my college car (2006 Toyota Corolla) 14 years later. Runs smoothly!

I'm looking in the 2007-2012 model year range, but still cheap. I've been looking at hybrid cars because I attend Virginia Tech, so it needs to be able to survive the 4 hours trips down to Blacksburg!

Just a quick poll for the community:

What mileage on a car do you look for when buying? I've been taught to try and look for under six-digit mileage, or at least low 100-120kish mileage, but I would love some input from others. Thanks!
