Ummm....I guess you missed the fact that I was joking:rolleyes: ...that was the reason for the smilies.
    A. I would never let my children sled on that hill:screwy:
    B. My portable basketball hoop is well-anchored by water inside the base:rockon:
    C. My garbage cans mostly out of view are on the side of my house, inside a fence, but I am certain that it could be construed as a violation.:rulez:
    D. There is nothing wrong with Goose Creek; in fact I interviewed for the GM position at that fine facility last winter.

This kind of logic and common sense will get you nowhere in today's society.

is THIS what it takes to get people to realize we have a GROWING PROBLEM in Ashburn?!?!?

    ----------

Loudoun County, Virginia- The Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported rape that occurred Saturday night in the Ashburn area.

The 16-year-old victim says she was walking on a trail near Claiborne Parkway and the Dulles Greenway around 8 PM when an unknown subject came up from behind her. The suspect forced her into a wooded area off of the
trail where he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect was described as a White male, in his late teens to early twenties, with brown eyes and short black hair. He was further described as being around 6' tall with a thin build. The suspect was also described as having very bad acne and acne scars. He was wearing a long
white t-shirt and black sweat pants at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Investigator D. Canham of the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous they are asked to contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.

Sent to Violent Crimes(E-mail accounts, Pagers, Cell phones) through Alert Loudoun

complaining does nothing. this has been proven to me through this website, lets complain about everything thats any type of inconvience to our ideal perfect ashburn lifestlye

    .driving.
    .dogpoop.
    streetsigns.

lets talk about meaningful things. like charity. and AFRICA!.

you are very insightful, american. don't grow up to focus on petty things like we do

you forgot all of our complaints about restaurant service, garbage cans, small garages and rainy days.

so ball's in your court. what are YOU doing about Africa's problems, how are you helping charities?

this IS the place to discuss these issues American- THAT's what a ***neighborhood*** forum is for. i can speak for myself that i go actual physical places to do my charity and volunteering- i would never sit online and talk about it... :)

yes, true to the post above mine, but everyone seems to get off topic in their posts, so i'd like to talk about Africa and charity, if you dont mind..

and to the post before that..im actually planning to major in politcal science, and maybe a minor in humanities
**i hope to be an ambassador, but i know thats a high rank job, but at least assist america in its overseas peace missions. And from all these posts i heard i'd be a good "activist"~i guess we shall see.

And, as of now, i volunteer with MADD, those mothers stand for a true cause, and actually act out on it, instead of complaining and leaving it to others! i respect that organization, and love helping. Also for general charity, every year i particpate in angel tree and over summer i look to get involved with a church program that does missions to less fortunate areas in D.C, with not petty issues, but life-threatening issues.

you might want to move your thread about Africa and Charity to a new thread, not one coined "bad teenagers". :) Good luck with your goals! i wish i had that much figured out when i was in school.
