Prior to 6/30/07, the most users on the forums at any one time was stuck at 84, which the fourms hit the day the new forum interface (or whatever you techies call it) was put into service in Feb 2005--I think we all got e-mails that day to update our profiles, so there was a lot of activity.

Well, not only did was "most users" count surpassed on Saturday, 6/30/07, but it was SHATTERED. What happened? Did an outside website draw a bunch of users into the forums?

    Just curious--I find it interesting.

We are well over 84 most of the time. Throughout 2007, the lowest 'max' during a month is typically about 110 users.. and the average is about 150 or so.

In 2006, the average was much more in the 80s range.

That may be, but I'm referring to the "max" count at the bottom of the main Forum page:

The "Most users ever online" on this page had been 84 for over two years, until last Saturday. I was just curious what caused the spike on Saturday.

That was probably just some caching issue for you :) It should have been much higher (though I never look at that.. I look at the real stats) so I can't say for sure

    Reported 84 for me also.

Never really cared much, was just curious to see what Republican Gryphon was bashing next or what atrocities ALL the local teens had done next! ;)
