    Maybe we can post here what businesses we've noticed are gone:

    Ssomeone mentioned that Beef O'Brady's is now gone.

    Daily Grind has been replaced.

    I noticed that Opus Jewelry in the Broadlands center is gone too.

    Del Rey was awesome at Broadlands Live, I always got their tacos and rice & beans and it was really yummy. I admit I have never been to the restaurant- I can't imagine that the food quality is different from what I had at the concerts...


    WOW workout world is gone. 321 Ashland, the pizza place that was next to it...

    How does Morning Glory stay in business? They have such odd hours and there are never many customers in there when I go by. I must say I LOVE their headbands and hair accessories for my girls. I hope they stick around!

    Yes, I bet Del Rey will be gone soon. We decided to give them a chance last week. - despite all the bad reviews I've read. We went there for lunch and had the buffet. We were the only ones there the entire time. Service was ok but the food was terrible - and I'm not picky at all. The buffet was freezing cold - when we complained, the waitress offered to heat our plates in the microwave. The food was not tasty at all (several dishes actually tasted so bad that I left it and went to get something else). My husband was sick that afternoon and I didn't feel all the well either. Guess I should have listened to all the reviews!

    I am also surprised the Morning Glory is still around.

    I'm surprised Lee hasn't weighed in here.

    This all just begs the question - do folks do any kind of market study before they open a business, or is it just "We'll open in or around Cashburn and the money will flow!"?

    I have been busy busy busy in looking and developing and designing and going to build and own an office complex that will show you all I am a lot more then talk around here look for the good neighbor office complex coming soon. :clap: Residential style and very very cool interiors and exteriors with many surprises:)

    Now I really don't think anyone does any decent survey or study before they do anything around here like they do in other parts of the country. That is why their are going to be a zillion failures. People think everyone is rich here and believe me this is far from one of the richest areas I have lived in. You also have people especially people from other countries lets say putting money into things that they don't need right now and that is the nice way of saying it. That also hurts local businesses and perhaps why you wonder why such and such stays open hmmmmmmmm.

    I've never even heard of that place. Maybe that's why they're closing... poor marketing. But at least they didn't drop tons of road spam!

    The pottery place near Treviso's -- gone. I can't believe Ace Vacuums is still around. Do that many people really get their vacuums repaired?

    8 Thai Restaurants, lets see who lasts the longest, Thai Orchid is already gone, Thai Basil bought them out.

    And they're gonna have to compete with Anita's :bow:

    The sales person for our newsletter mentioned to me it was closed when she tried to contact them for advertising. I'll have her check again!!

    In the Potomac Station shopping center off Rte 7. Near Best Buy and the Giant. Went there today and bought 15 DVD's for $25.
