How common: Cicada Killer Wasp

    Chemicals??? I figure with the divots you 2 were gouging out, with your PUTTERS no less, that you could get rid of them that way. :D

    Easy there Mr. "all I do is golf and post 3,000+ message on the forum". All I'm doing with my divots is making it EASY for them to dig back into the ground. It's my way of giving back to nature!

    I've seen a lot of these 'Cicada Killer' wasps lately around my yard and it's no coinsidence I've see a lot of cicadas as well. In fact, just yesterday I was walking in front of my garage and I saw a wasp actually carrying a cicada...it was flying a little out of control and almost flew right into me. Unfortunately it dropped the cicada at my feet and flew away. I would've loved to have seen the entire journey...very cool insect!
