Okay, I will ask. Did you all notice the enormous amount of law enforcement officers in Overland tonight. WOW, that was a lot of folks, cars, guys in black. Does anyone know what happened.[?]

It's possibly related to the South Riding murder case. They arrested an ASHBURN man. Here's the info I have:

Loudoun County, Virginia- An Ashburn man wanted for the murder of a woman whose body was discovered in a suitcase in a dumpster in South Riding was taken into Sheriff's Office custody shortly after midnight Thursday.

Sheriff's Investigators took Praveen Mandanapu, 32, of Ashburn into custody in Winchester, Virginia only an hour after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The body was discovered Monday by a maintenance worker inside a suitcase in a dumpster in The Abbey apartment complex. Investigators believe the suitcase was placed inside the dumpster sometime after 10 a.m. last Friday morning when the dumpster was last emptied.

The Sheriff's Office at this time is withholding the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.

The Sheriff's Office plans to release further details on the case later in the day on Thursday.

I dont want to scare anyone but I live in overland park community. last night at 11PM some one rang our door bell twice. I was dead asleep. My husband was feeding my child so he heard that and woke me and told me to check . all this happenned quickly . I went to my dining room and looked outside to see who came at that night and there is no one infront of my door. but 3 men were walking past my neighbours house. now I cant say they rang the bell becuse they were walking so casually.. we looked around the house thru the windows.. but can find no one.

I dont know if anyone ran off quickly .. or what happened.

Did anyone experience anything like this before? This is soo weird and scary too. please advice.

Good chance that SarasMom is right if Buckley Terrace is in Overland Park. There is someone by that name with a telephone listing there.

The man that was arrested does live in Overland Park.

The people that came to your door were most likely the investigators coming by to ask if you know this person & what's he like..so on.

The body of the woman found in the South Riding dumpster has been identified as the wife of the man that was recently arrested in Winchester. They were residents of Broadlands in the Overland Park section on Buckley Terrace.
The body was dismembered in put in a suitcase. Not all of the body parts have been located.

You don't lose personal assets simply because of a criminal charge, or even convinction (unless the conviction is for criminal fraud, maybe, or something like drug smuggling where the assets are obtained with illegal earnings.) I would think the house remains his property unless and until his lender forecloses, pursuant to his mortgage agreement. Presumably, if he loses his job and goes to jail, he will default on his mortgage!
