It's great that driver is going to make a full recovery (prayers).

So, let's have a tip of the hats to the men & women of the Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue 6 & 23 and the Loudoun Volunteers. At a half hour before shift's end they were called into service. One of the Station 6 crew that actually cut the gent out of the car is a graduate of Station 6's Explorer program that get kids as young as 14 fully trained in the ways of fire fighting & rescue operations.

Maybe this is off topic, but is it within the realm of possibility to have the HOA draft a complaint letter to the news choppers that hovered over an accident area for hours? I guess its not "illegal," but I was watching the news, and the most they had was a 3 second clip on most stations.

Again, I may be the only "cranky, not so old guy."

No, it's not. Feel free to write a letter of complaint to each news organization once you have determined who was up there.

So I know this is off topic too, but I actually live up in the Pulte development you're talking about, and was walking my dog during that time period, and there were NO construction workers making noise at that time. They rarely begin showing up to work until 7 a.m. (they have to wait for daylight), and when they do show up earlier they are all very courteous and try not to make more noise than necessary. In fact, I have a house going up right next door to mine and I work from home and it is not at all overly loud even at peak times during the day. Definitely no "drilling" at 6:30 a.m.

However, if it does bother you that much, talk to the people in the office here on the property.
