Does anyone know if the HOA allows home based businesses to be established?

If so are there restrictions on what type of home businesses that can be established?

I should probably look in the HOA papers but wanted to throw it out there just to see if anyone knew off the top of their head.

    TIA,
    P

Yes and yes. Contact the HOA Office for details.

Check out these resources too for general tips on home-based biz (its from the gov and is most helpful) http://business.gov/industries/home-based/

Also check out their Permit Search Tool - helps you understand what the feds, state and county require of home-based businesses just by entering your zipcode and business type (put general business if you aren't any of the industries listed) http://www.business.gov/register/licenses-and-permits/. You'll need a home occupancy permit from Loudoun - it's a one time fee of $50.
