We recently moved down from the Jersey Shore (no fist pumping, please!) where you can find a fireworks display in one town or another nearly every weekend over the summer. I was wondering if we'd be able to find some displays down here (other than over July 4th weekend) and if there's a schedule somewhere. Maybe a local paper would have the information, but I don't know what those papers are yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just got another message from Scott York. Please disregard my previous post...

    Dear Friends,

What do they say about the best intentions…. ? Apparently there is some wrong information out on the internet and I need to make a few corrections and additions to my list of Independence day celebrations. I apologize for any confusion this might have caused and I have attempted to give you additional information on some of the events I had mentioned in my previous email.

    Scott

Unless there's a particular town's event, probably not. Brambleton does their fireworks the weekend before the 4th typically, or whenever their FunFest is.

Try the minor league baseball teams - Frederick Keys and Potomac Nationals. They do fireworks more often - ususally Fri or Sat nights.
