Our main floor is a mix of hardwood, tile, and bad carpet. We'd love to rip out all of the carpet and try to match the floors. We have 1 estimate so far, but it was quite high. If you have added hardwoods to your home I would love to benefit from your experience!

    Thanks...

Also try K&K Flooring in Chantilly. I just had extensive hardwood flooring and carpeting done. They did an amazing job!! They gave me the best quote and did the entire job in one day!!!

I wish I remembered the name of the place but they were fairly reasonable and are located over in the AC Moore, Home Goods shopping center. They did two houses on our street.

Why not do it yourself? I replaced my carpet and vinyl floors as well as my stairs. You will end up saving thousands of dollars. It is not that hard to do. Spend your money on a good compressor. a laser and flooring nailer. Also, with the quality of "harwoods installed by the builders I would rip them out as well. This will eliminate the need to try and match it but it will add to your cost.

    Good luck,
