Does anyone have recommendations for a good individual or small company to call for exterior painting (and trim replacement) and also power washing?

Power washing has it's place, primarily for concrete surfaces such as sidewalks and driveways.

For homes, 'soft washing' is much more effective and does not risk water infiltration between the siding and the moisture barrier for example. With a simple TSP substitute (far more environmentally friendly than real TSP) soft washing will prep the wooden exterior trim for paint adhesion very nicely at the same time it cleans the siding amazingly well.

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions or tell you more about this far more effective process if you'd like.
