    Hi everyone,
The Broadlands carnival/fun day is this Saturday, August 18th from 11am-1pm on the grounds of the Nature Center! This is a Broadlands HOA event and not for the general public. The rain date will be Sunday and I will post here if we need to reschedule due to weather.

We've changed things just a little this year, so it's more of a fun day as we have removed the carnival games. In place of the games, we will have 2 different craft tables plus 2 spin art machines.

We will also have 4 different inflatables to interest a variety of kids ages. The inflatables are as follows: the demolition ball, jr. obstacle course, amazing maze and the retro dry slide.

We will have a dj, 3 balloon twisters, 2 face painters and a glitter tatoo artist, and free snow cones (1 per child please).

The company that we are using for the inflatables will also be bringing a photo station with props. We could not fit this into our budget, so if you want pictures, it will cost $5 per 4x6 photo.

We will also have a food truck on hand selling food. You will be able to purchase either a hot dog, hamburger/cheeseburger, or bbq pork sliders with a bag of chips for $5. The truck will also have soda available for purchase.

A Susan G. Komen 3-day team will also have a table selling bottle water and baked goods ($1 an item for the baked goods and water)to raise money for breast cancer research. The group will also have a silent auction table with items donated from local businesses such as Ford's Fish Shack, Parallel, 1757 and many more...

We hope you and your families can come out and enjoy a fun afternoon with us!
