Snapology is offering some STEM based camps at the Ashburn Martial Arts Center again this summer. Our camps are appropriate for ages 5 to 12 depending on the chosen camp. For example in our amusement park camp kids will learn about gear ratio, centrifugal force, centripetal force, gravity, and
energy. There is also a little bit of computer programming at this camp. Check out our offerings and camp description at http://ashburn.snapology.com/summercamp.html

Please contact us if you are interested in any of the camps, we are running special discounts until April 1st. We have also donated a camp spot to Mill Run's silent auction which takes place at the Carnival this Friday.

How is Mad science? Any good/bad reviews about it?

It seems to be bit expensive. Before committing for the whole summer, I am trying to find other parent's reviews.

I haven't done any of those to say how they were. However, I've been to performances from Mad Science when they were at the public library and thought they were good. Mad Science also did an assembly at our elementary school and that was good, too. Never done the camps, though.

My child did a Camp Invention one a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. I guess she was a rising 3rd grader at the time.

My daughter has done Camp Invention and this summer she is going to be a CIT for them. She really enjoyed it. There are several different locations and dates in the area. Here's their website - http://www.campinvention.org/

Any reviews on Fairfax Collegiate camps? I'm also looking for other summer reading camps for my rising 5th grader.
