Cracker Barrel Soft Grand Opening 07/18/14, Friday--Finally!

Hi, fellow foodies--

Just thought that I would let you know that we ate (all 8 of us--DH, myself, our quads and twins) at the new Cracker Barrel in Sterling/Dulles, VA area. It is located off Rt. 606/Old Ox Road next to the Fairfield Inn. We were on our way to the Leesburg Outlet Mall to do some shopping.

I had read online that the Grand Opening date was 07/21/14, Monday. We were on our way to Lancaster, PA for the this weekend and through next week for vacation so we thought we stop on the off chance that they would have a "soft opening" like most restaurants do before their "official grand opening date". On the way to the Leesburg Outlet Mall, we pulled in and they were open as I surmised by the cars in the parking lot.

We received a "soft grand opening" 20%/off discount off our total restaurant food bill. The 20%/off discount only applies to meals not store merchandise. Your check will already be reduced (without showing a 20%/off discount on the line items) since it is figured into your check. I do not know if the 20%/off discount was just for today or for the whole weekend of 07/18/14 to 07/20/14 leading up to the "official grand opening date" of 07/21/14. So for our total bill before the 20%/off discount it was around $80, and after the 20%/off discount it was around $50.

You can call or drive by there if you are interested. Just call and ask if the 20%/off discount is still applicable for the rest of the weekend.

Have fun and it had great food and service. The new store is lighter in colors and floors in its decor. There were about 20 or so people there around 10 a.m. when we ate earlier today. We highly recommend it and will stop again when we are traveling in the area.
