    Cameras used passively to watch private property does not bother me. Money generating ticket machines like DC has do bother me. Bunch of shows about personal security said a home camera system is better than ADT, then the cops have a photo of the perp.

    I am guessing the car was in the street since that is kinda what a car drives on ;).
    And IMO, if you do have security cameras, they should have street coverage in the immediate vicinity of your home.

    Check out some videos on the Logitech Alert on YouTube. There are a ton of videos about what you are looking for. There are others all over youtube as well beyond just that channel. Like this one where a woman was watching her home cam from work and saw a robbery going on.

    Fidothe dog never responded so the question bears repeating - particularly in our community. Surely this would have made the news in Broadlands unless it was a made up story...

    Its impossible to have a private camera free life.....unless you never leave your home. Once you start looking for them its amazing where and how many there are.....
