The Broadlands Association is not responsible for removing snow or treating state or county maintained (VDOT) roadways. The Association is only responsible for clearing snow from paved parking areas in townhome neighborhoods and HOA maintained roads in the community.

Snow removal will be performed when an accumulation of 2 inches or more has fallen on the ground. If you are not sure who maintains your street, please review the: Snow Removal list.

Have the road snow removal assignments been changed at all in the last couple of years? I could have sworn my street was HOA cleared, and usually very quickly. But it now says VDOT and it was not very timely so far this year..

From HOA and VDOT there have been no changes. If youre in a more recent area where the developer plowed then that could have switched to VDOT
