Gun fire?

Has anyone else heard what sounds like gun fire for the past week? It usually starts around 10pm and lasts throughout the evening. It can be heard from the Harvest Green neighborhood. Hopefully someone can confirm that it is something else...

 

Interesting. Are you sure it's not an airgun? Or, could you possibly be hearing the gutter nails pop from the freezing temps?

 

Our deck makes some loud booms when it gets really cold, which we usually hear at night. I read that the noises are due to contraction of the wood during those cold nights. It doesn't need to be coming from just the deck as other wooden pieces of your house can make the same popping.

Gunfire: Deputies responded to the area for a report of gunfire. Two witnesses stated they observed
an unknown male leave a restaurant and then heard several rounds discharged from a firearm.
The subject was described as a male with red hair and a beard, 6’3 ” to 6’5” tall.
The area was searched and several casings were recovered. A canvass of the area was
conducted and no additional witnesses or potential victims were located.

 

That just happened yesterday/Sunday.
