Who lives in the pond in front of the Broadlands Nature Center? Is the water healthy for living things? Bring your family outside to study the Nature Center pond with ANS naturalists! Together we will see what we can catch in our nets, complete a habitat survey and even take a look at the chemical composition of the water. A program introduction will run at 10:30, 11:15, and noon. Start at one of these times and stay as long as you like (until the program ends at noon). Rain boots are recommended, and remember to dress for the weather and for the possibility of getting muddy. This outdoor event will run rain or shine. Only freezing temperatures or thunder & lightning will send us inside. Registration link and fliers will be posted soon.
