The Rotary Club of Ashburn will hold its annual gala on June 6th at 1757 Golf Club. The event kicks off with our "Taste of Loudoun" beer and wine tasting with local breweries and wineries including Lost Rhino, Old Ox, Corcoran, 868 Estates, Lost Creek Winery, 8 Chains North, and Breaux. There will also be hand rolled cigars, dinner, a silent auction, door prizes and dancing.

The event will benefit the Road Warrior Foundation, an organization that supports wounded soldiers, sailors, and airmen noting that, "There are just more veterans in need than resources to support and without people interested in helping, there are many heroes that simply fall through the cracks." The gala will also benefit the Ashburn Rotary Foundation that serves the Ashburn and Loudoun areas through scholarships at Broad Run, Briar Woods and Stone Bridge high schools, community clean-ups, providing coats and school supplies to local students in need, and much more.

Tickets are $100 per person and you can register at www.ashburnrotarygala.com and registration will close prior to the gala. So come out and support your community and enjoy a great evening. We're a fun bunch and not your father's Rotary Club. We hope to see you there!

A thank you to all who attended our gala last Saturday night. Our foundation made some $$ that will continue to fund scholarships for students at Broad Run, and Briar Woods HS and we will be increasing the amount of the scholarship next year. Please consider contributing to the Ashburn Rotary Foundation as we give back to our community.
