FIOS Cordcutting

    I've been a cordcutter for a long time. I figured I would share my details since folks often seem surprised. I pay VZ $67 for 25/25, local channels and a phone line (mother-in-law/spam). I have a HomerunHD and use Windows Media server to retrieve program guides and act as a DVR. I admit I use technology to sometimes work around barriers to content which closes any gaps for me. Other folks may not be so technical so closing the gap to obtain certain content may require spending money or using other media, but I wanted to make sure folks understood what was possible via FIOS.
