Does anyone have a dog groomer who charges a reasonable amount?

Seriously. He is a dog. Buzz him, wash him, dry him and ship him back. Last one cost $85.

    (Am I just cheap?)

They don't even put their prices on their websites. Too ashamed?

Woofies has dog grooming vans that will come out to your house. Don't know what they charge.

Have you tried Belly Rubs by the old Giant in Junction Plaza. We have never paid $85 but like others have said we live in Ca$hburn.

Woofies charged us 80 a dog. We have 2 short hair hounds that are 50-60 pounds. It was nice having them come out but that is not an every 2 month thing for us. Maybe twice a year and I keep up the maintenance and baths in between.

I use Dog-A-Do in Herndon. My dog is $85 but he's a schnauzer and they are one of the harder breeds to groom. Pricing is based on the breed there.

Another place I've used is Pretty Paws in Chantilly (on Rt. 50). David does a nice job on the dogs there. It's just easier for me to get to Herndon. http://www.prettypawsva.com/

You can also go to PetValu in the Goose Creek shopping center and pay $10 to use their bath facilities. Less mess at home and they have shampoo and dryers. Good for in-between grooming.

He's an English Springer Spaniel. We found a place for $65.
