I just received a phone call from a mobile line along the lines of

"Hello, this call is officially a final notice from the IRS. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. Call immediately

    1-501-306-8502
    "
These scams are out of control. It's about all we get on our land lines these days. Reported here

I report them all the time. Have no idea if it does anything.

I love "playing" with the live ones.... I have them hold for a looong time while "boot my computer" and I mis-type the information they ask me to enter so they have to repeat it 3 -4 times (of course I'm not typing). The I say " I have a question - Does your mother know you're a common criminal? That you make a living stealing from innocent victims?" They're usually gone by this time...

I love playing with them also! I say something "oh my gosh! Can I please just give you my credit card number and you fix it no matter the cost?" They get excited and then I tell them to pack sand! fun fun!
