Has there been any discussion about making a path through the woods at the end of Village Drive to Demot to access the metro?

Sounds like a good idea. Go to some Board meetings or email them and bring up the topic.

Hs there ever been talk about putting a sidewalk on Demot? It's so hard to walk kids to the Nature Preserve and take advantage of it with no side walk.

GoPack - not sure where you mean to put a sidewalk, but most of Claiborne has sidewalks on both sides. Where there is not, there should be a tunnel you can use to cross to the side that does have a sidewalk.

If anyone can explain the thought process behind where there is a path and where there isn't, I'd love to understand. Throughout Ashburn, it's very frustrating to have a pathway just abruptly end - without warning. I'm not saying there should be paths every where, just some understanding of where they are or aren't or warning that they are going to end would be helpful.

I'm not talking about on Claiborne, I'm talking about on Demott Drive. There is no sidewalk leading from Claiborne to the Nature Preserve.

None of this property is owned by the HOA. It is owned by either Van Metre or George Mason University.

GoPack - if you walk through the apartments on the end nearest the Nature Center, there is a sidewalk on Claiborne. It ends (or starts) here and does not extend to Waxpool.

Probably the same principle where one street has 3 different names along the same course

This isn't the street I'm talking about, but I know what you mean.
