Did not know where to post this but as an advisory to all residents that there was a serious hazard this morning on waxpool road before the back entrance to Verizon. As you may know they are building across the street and have been digging up the road and temporarily placing metal plates in the road. Well this morning in the right hand lane (heading North towards the ice house), a sharp edge of the metal plate was protruding and at least 8 cars had both their front and rear tires punctured on the passenger side of their cars. Unfortunately so many people had to suffer flats before the Loudoun County Sheriff arrived on scene and blocked the right hand lane. Hopefully this will be resolved today, but please be careful driving in this area until it's permanently fixed.

Did not realize those plates were causing punctured tires! I have been purposely driving in the left lane as it seems better than the right, but I have also been slowing down and driving over them at 5-10 mph as if they were speed bumps, probably pissing off the driver behind me each time.

It was something new this morning... something they did screwed things up. By 9am the Sherriff and all kinds of construction trucks were there trying to sort it out.

Went by there last week at night. Doing the speed limit no warning then Bang!!! There were no plates in the right lane just a big ditch half filled with gravel. No flags no signs no lights no markers. After reading this you really have to wonder about the IQ of these workers. I don't mind the data centers until it starts damaging my car.
