Anyone had any experience adding their spouse to the house deed? I'm putting together a quitclaim deed to change to add my spouse to the deed and plan of dropping by the county to have it recorded. Is it that simple? Do most people use a title company or attorney?

I used a quitclaim to remove my ex from the deed, but I didn't know that it could be used to add - not sure.

I don't give legal advice but Highland Title does. They are great and always go the extra mile. They are located right in Ashburn as well.

Should be easy to add. Be sure to take Marriage Certs, any name change docs, Photo ID's. This is usually done with a title attorney, yes.
