Time to be extra cautious (yeah, more than the usual, sigh). My daughter (and another woman's) car windows were bashed in at Lifetime Fitness tonight and their purses were stolen. Yes, we lectured her about leaving her purse in the car, but she was already kicking herself. If anyone saw anything, please contact the police. And be extra vigilant this season!

Yea, not the first place I would have guessed where this is a risk. It must have been one of the other members... not really a place that has foot traffic.

Did you get in touch with the General Manager yet to question camera footage? I hope Lifetime management gives you the attention this deserves...I have a less than favorable opinion with their Management. But thanks for sharing, appreciate the heads-up.

Yes, report was given to manager and police. The other woman only had $6 in cash taken from her clutch wallet, and they bashed in her minivan's sliding door window to get that bonanza.;) They may have panicked for time, because they took my daughter's entire purse. And before she could even get on the phone to cancel her debit card, they had purchased gas at the Shell near the ice rink. Boy, talk about stupid. The time, date and station is posted on the online banking transaction. So I'm sure the video camera at the station will be checked. It was dark and rainy last night, so hopefully with the daylight today they'll search around since they usually toss the purse. Although there's not much foot traffic as you say, there is a path and with all the construction areas around there, it wouldn't take much to smash & grab and sneak back through those sites. What's amazing is that it was the height of gym use (6-7:30ish), and nobody saw a thing. Yet to be determined how helpful management will be. I understand this has happened before at the same Lifetime...
