Last fall, We shifted from daily to Sunday only. They still continued to deliver on weekdays. I spoke to WaPo but nothing changed.
I then left a message to delivery/courier from the WaPo my account section.

It seemed to have worked for a month or so but I still get the newspaper on random weekdays and probably missed one Sunday edition in the recent past.

I am a daily and Sunday subscriber. There was one day within the past couple of weeks. I dont remember if it was Sunday or a Weekday. I called the main number and the paper arrived around noon that day. Other than that one day, I havent had any issues other than on heavy snow days.

I am a daily and Sunday subscriber too and I have not missed a paper in years. I live on the top of Ridgeway and service has been great.

No issues for me. Wonder if your color sticker has fallen off your mailbox? They pay no attention to address, but the color dot on your mailbox dictates what paper you receive and when you get it.

Thanks - Red dot on mailbox was the first thing I checked - it's there. Supervisor for distributor in my area said the person is new and they're having some issues.

I did get both parts of last Sunday's paper with no issues. Hoping this is resolved.

Special Editions - not as "Special" as I thought... You might want to check your bill.

So I'm looking over my home delivery bill from WaPo that comes every year - though it's way early this year. I find that my annual Sunday only subscription now expires 8 weeks earlier than last year. The reason: WaPo issued 8 "Special Editions" during the year, at a charge of $2.15 - 2.65 per paper to my account, thereby shortening my annual Sunday only subscription by 8 weeks.

This has me a bit miffed, as I recall seeing that these Special Editions will be delivered to Sunday only subscribers - but no mention that I'd be charged $2.65 for each one. Sure I could "opt out" of each one - I should have realized with the option to Opt Out, there was going to be a charge if I didn't. Note, I don't recall getting an email about each of them - I just saw it when I went online to complain about a missed paper. So, I'm not sure how one would know to Opt Out without going online. And - I don't recall getting the majority of them as they tend to come on weekdays.

Here's the rub. On my 2016 bill there were 2 SEs. On my 2017 bill there were 4 SEs. This year, there are 8 of them. Seems they can issue one for any reason*, and then charge you to deliver it (if you're Sunday only) if you don't Opt Out of each one.

Fortunately, a call to WaPo took care of it - I hope. They said they would refund all Special Editions and permanently Opt Out my account from these papers. Fingers crossed that actually happens.
