    Hi,

Our townhouse has a window that leaks. Unclogging a nearby gutter greatly reduced it, but didn't eliminate the leak. Given where the window is, it could be starting from a roof, the gutter, the window/siding, a facade above the window, or some combination of those.

I'm looking for advice on what kind of professional to call to troubleshoot and repair the problem: roofer, gutter, siding, window, general home contractor, someone else plus any recommendations for people to use.

    Thanks.

I would call a siding or roofing professional.

    I'd suggest a roofing professional.

The fact that you had to unclog a clogged gutter suggests that the gutter could have sagged over time depending on how long it was clogged and how much water was in the gutter, making it heavier than normal. It is likely out of alignment, making water flow over the edge and down the siding to your window, despite it being cleared.
