led by LCPS Math Teacher & Accelerated BWHS Math Student/Resident Broadlands

Start ahead & Stay ahead! Success in high school and doing well on the SAT's/ACT's needed for College depends on Algebra 1. It stinks because math is not everyone's favorite, but it’s true. You need a ROCK-SOLID foundation in Algebra 1 for many higher math courses like Algebra 2, Pre-Calc, Calc AB/BC, & Math Analysis. Plus, it is estimated that approximately 75% of the SAT/ACT math content is based in Algebra. It's the one subject that is crucial to get right the first time because everything builds fast and keeps building! Join our small group tutoring sessions where we will make it a priority to keep your student ahead in learning. Each weekly session will be divided into 30 min. break- out sessions to give your child the personalized attention in the areas they need most, giving them an opportunity to get help with homework or review for upcoming tests/quizzes. The additional time will be used advance teaching the Algebra 1 curriculum, so that students can walk into each math class feeling confident, assured and stress-free.
