Today my kids were all out playing on our culdesac. 3 teenage boys and 1 girl were hanging out on ridgeway. We went inside, and from our back window saw one of the boys running up ridgeway with our skateboard. Indeed, the skateboard is missing from our yard.
All kids were around high school age.
I would really just like the skateboard back. If anyone knows or sees anything, please let me know. I'm not out to destroy a kid's record over this. I'd just like to have it back. It has sentimental value.
It's pretty distinct, it's a longboard. Black top, red wheels, black and white bottom.
    Please keep an eye out.

I would call the HOA office to give a description. They often will get contacted with found items. I've also seen quite a few "lost bikes" from the neighborhood and neighbors finding discarded bikes along the trials, paths, and tunnels throughout Broadlands. It's clear that kids are taking bikes and in your case a skateboard, using them, then discarding them throughout the neighborhood before returning home. It's quite sad that this is happening in our neighborhood. I would also ask neighbors if any security cameras may have caught an image of the teen who took it. Also post on FB in the Broadlands Mom's group - someone may find it when they are out an about in the neighborhood. I hope it turns up.
