It's interesting that yours went out around 11 am. We lost ours at 7 am - our neighbors also around 11ish. It was such bad timing with the parade, football, etc. We finally got it back about 4 pm - after also being told it would be around 3 am.

I didn’t know about that as I went to Fairfax to help a friend prep food for Wounded Warriors tomorrow....but someone mentioned that the fiber had gotten cut. Not sure if that was the case...

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving and hope the outage helped with getting family getting closer without technology intervening! :)

Sorry to hear. I hope it is a quick fix. The cash value of the service being out a few hours is just a couple bucks, but of course we all rely upon this like a utility, so it feels like a major disruption. Let us know when you get back up and running.

Four words, over the air antenna. Even though I have Dish and television wasn't affected, I still keep the OTA as backup when the weather gets bad.

I lost internet at 7 am but the best thing was no phone so no telemarketing calls all day.

Second the OTA antenna. Picture quality is fantastic. I put mine in the attic and ran the coax to my AV box in the HVAC closet (M&S townhouse). There was an orange tube in the attic already installed to make this much easier plus a coax splitter so I could get signal to all my TVs. Worth the $100 in equipment.
