    I either need to find a mower and weed wacker really fast or I need someone to come do my front and back lawns of my townhouse! Anyone want to earn some extra money? You'd need to bring your own equipment to do this! Thanks!

    <grouchy old man mode on>

    You'd think some teen would want to make some extra money .. HAH!

    Try to find some teens around here actually cutting grass!! I was willing to offer some cash to teens willing to shovel the sidewalk in winter. Fat chance ...

    We have some very nice young men in Southern Walk who went door to door when it snowed and asked to shovel the driveways for a small fee. They were very helpful - I just want to be sure they get their props!
    I don't know their personal info- but I see them playing outside all of the time. All you have to do is find an able body and ask:)

    My 14 year old son and his friend just handed out fliers last Friday to get grass cutting jobs in the Southern Walk area. Both kids live here, and they started this business last summer. All of their customers seemed to be happy with the work they did. If you still need someone, let me know. Depending on where you live (they walk their mowers and equipment to their jobsites), they may be able to help you out.

    We didn't get any fliers! We're down in the M&S THs. What do your son and his friend charge!

    I think it's great they are out there working and earning money at a young age! Good for them!

    Actually, they delivered the fliers to the single family homes on the other side of Claiborne (near Mill Run), where we live. I can check with them to see if they might be interested in working in your area. It might be a little bit too far (a long walk with a mower) to be worth their while.

    Up to this point, they haven't done any townhouses, so I am not sure what they would charge. They are charging $25-30 for the single family houses.

    And, yes, we are happy that they are doing this. Not that they save much of the money--they are teenagers, after all! At least it is their money that they are spending, and not mine (at least some of the time!).
