Looking for a good place & person to go to for a good pedicure that is not overly expensive (average is fine). I really like Amy at Noor Salon in Sterling but I need a backup for when she is not available. I tried the place near Cafe Opera but was not thrilled with it, particularly because the person did not listen to my request (I ask that they do not cut my cuticles as I have sensitive skin and nine times out of ten they start clipping anyway -- quite frustrating). I need someone who will listen and do a good job -- any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I had mine done lower level of the Dulles town center - but was not "thrilled" or raving about the place. $28 add $15 if you want the whole leg scrub done.

My favorite is VA Nails in the strip mall on Church Road and Cascades Parkway. Very reasonably priced ($20 something) and that includes the paraffin wax.

I have to second the VA Nails suggestion. I think I've had pedicures just about everywhere around here and they are, by far, the best. The one on Church road is quiet and very nice. Also, the folks that work there have pretty decent english speaking skills so you should be able to get across your requests. There is also a VA Nails at the Shoppers Food Warehouse mall in Ashburn and they are good, too. Its a little more cramped and crowded there, but I think the price is lower than the Church road location (They used to be owned by the same family, but they sold the Church road location last year.)
